"Love coming here, whether it's by myself for some peace and tranquility by the water, with a friend to enjoy the scenery and a walk, or with my family or friends so the kids can enjoy the playground and fresh air. Such a beautiful place. My sister got married here a few years ago as well."

"We ended up here completely by accident but a happy accident it was! This is a lovely campground with clean bathrooms, showers, a sink to do your dishes, a nature center with cool specimens and activities for the kids. There's also a park and roads that are nice for kids to bike on. We ended up with a premium camp site I think cuz it was the very last site available and it had lots of shade, which we were super happy with. Done sites are in full sun, so he aware of that. I believe all sites have a fire pit. The crowd you get here are not big partiers or anything so it was nice and quiet with actual quiet hours from 10-8, which people respected. The beach is a bit of a walk or you can drive there. Make sure to bring water shoes; there are a lot of rocks both in the beach itself and to get into the water. But once you get past the rocks it's mostly smooth sand and the water feels great! There are big waves, feels like you're at the ocean minus the salt!"

"This is a beautiful state park. Lots of spaces for parking and picnic areas. The grass was nice and the beach was excellent. My only gripe is the cliff from the grass to the beach is quite a drop. If you have little ones, keep an eye on them if you're near that area! There is nothing at the edge of the cliff. It's a straight drop down to the beach area which is about 20 feet or so. The path down to the beach is completely trashed from the winter storms and full of driftwood so be careful getting down there."

"One of my favorite parks to visit. It's about 30 minutes from where I live.but well worth the drive. The beach doesn't get overcrowded (unless holiday). The beach has some rocky areas. They have a playground for the little ones. They have charcoal grills you can use. Some of the most beautiful sunsets I have seen been here. It's perfect to be in the water watching the sun go down with that special someone!"
