Dulles International Airport

"Beautiful airport with modern lighting and construction. Large size with lots of gates empty even in the peak hours of flying. Train connection between gate B and C is a bit confusing as the signpost is not obvious. Takes a few minutes to fully understand the connection; if you are in a hurry, it will be bit annoying."

"Solid airport. This airport has a convenience store that sells flowers. I don't see fresh flowers often! Interesting architecture throughout the airport. There is a train you have to take to connect but clear signs all over. My first time in this airport."

"I've lived in the area most of my life, which is multiple decades. Airport itself is beautiful and pretty good to use overall. Bathrooms are usually clean, lines usually move. Main cons: The pickup and drop-off is ridiculously stupid once you get to the main terminal. There are cops sometimes (or airport police anyway), but they almost never deal with the people who are physically blocking the through lanes. Uber/Lyft drivers mostly, but sometimes clueless other people. The airport personnel needs to make sure that everyone in the third lane from the doors over is moving along or is changing lanes. The two lanes closest to the doors, sure, stop to drop people off and pick them up. But don't do that in the third lane and definitely not from the fourth or outer lanes. Many times I have pulled over to the curb to pick someone up who's about to come to the door and they'll try to hustle me along but at the same time they don't do anything with people who are actually blocking traffic. It's really bad. It's also a ridiculously long trip, with a ton of walking, between garage parking and the outer terminals. The people movers (speed bands?) aren't always on and they don't cover the entire distance. The last time my husband and I flew home into B, it took 40 minutes from the time our plane touched down until we had gotten to our car in the closer garage. That's absurd. He mostly had a backpack and I had a large purse and a rolling bag and we both can walk just fine; I can't imagine how hard it would be or how long it would have taken for anyone with a little kid or who had trouble walking."

"a large beautiful airport with a very wide list of international lines. easy and quick to get to. it links the United States with several countries around the world. a very busy airport. they use recent technologies especially when boarding such as the biometric pass. There is a chapel on site for Muslim, Christian and Jewish believers. Border police procedures are not harsh and are smooth."
