Christmas House Long Island

"Save your money & go somewhere else. It’s cute, at best. Absolutely not at all worth the price. We should have done more research on this attraction before purchasing tickets, but we took it as a lesson learned & will never be returning. In our experience, the snow machine as advertised wasn’t even featured! We were also told staff would be around to take pictures of us. We met with the young man who let us in, & there was a young lady in the first room. That was it after that. Everything the 1 star reviews say are true. We knew this wasn’t a “house”, but expected a much better set up for the price we paid. This was the 2nd year we went to the Halloween attraction “Blaze” in Old Bethpage (I know, it’s Christmas, but I’m using this as a reference point). Those tickets are nearly HALF the price for what you pay here, & if you’ve ever been to Blaze, you know it’s an incredible experience, that is held outside rather than in a tiny store in the mall like “Christmas House”, & actually DOES take minimum 45 minutes, if not more, to walk through like they advertise, unlike the “45 minutes” Christmas House claims. Please! We walked through this attraction in 20 minutes. It’s laughable, everyone. Please don’t give your hard earned dollars to this joke of an owner of a “business”, who replies to their 1 star reviews of unhappy customers who feel cheated with sarcasm & distaste. Whoever they may be, do not give a single F about your “fun”, they want to rob your money through a mediocre Christmas “experience”. Why would you ever want to support something like this when there is so much better out there?"

"This was a huge disappointment. Just some blowups. Nothing fun for kids. Very expensive to just take a 10 minute walk through very dark partioned rooms. No Santa no elves no actual characters just blowups. You can walk your neighborhood and get better photos with blowup. My granddaughter just looked at us and could not understand what we were doing. And you also should let people know that this is inside the mall . That is not posted anywhere. Nowadays everyone is on a tight budget and you still want to be able to take your kids somewhere to experience the joy of the season, and this totally missed the mark. I write this in hopes of saving a family a huge amount of money. The saying is you get what you pay for but not the case at the Christmas house."

"We love love LOVE Christmas house LI!!! My kids look forward to going every year, and with a range of ages (5-11), it is usually hard to find an activity they all enjoy, but not with Christmas house! There is truly something for everyone to enjoy. So many beautiful photo opportunities, and fun for the whole family!! Best Christmas attraction, highly recommend!!"

"This is a sponsored review. We visited Dec. 2, 2023 at around 7:30. The staff here were so kind! They helped take photos/videos and the dude who did tarot card reading was so funny and the dudette in the harry potter room was so kind! There’s a Jack + Sally room, A Christmas Story Themed room, letters to Santa, pong and movies! Try to do all the activities in the room, like finding Buddy the Elf, doing trivia and more. Please keep your expectations to mall-level entertainment. My only suggestion: I do feel like the pricing may be steep for the average American budget right now. If you don’t mind spending the money, I think you and your family will have a cute time! Ideas: The space in the mall where the Spirit Halloween is seasonally… I wonder if that can hold more rooms and photo ops! I think a Frozen-themed room would be really cool! There’s some great local boutiques who do character meet and greets. This could be really fun for the future! Like meeting the Grinch or The Ice Queen!"

"We were looking to do something fun with our three kids. Thought this would be fun, being it was advertised as “Long Island’s #1 Christmas attraction”. Not quite. First the staff was very inviting and nice … but that was about it. This place is very overpriced and definitely not a 40 min walk. We completed it in under 15 minutes. The pictures on the site does not represent the location at all. It’s very dark and not great to take pictures in the location. We left out of there in disbelief that we spent $140 to walk through a bunch of “rooms” that was actually just curtains dividing the different areas. If “Christmas House” representatives are actually reading this … do better. You should not be charging the amount you charge. We were better off taking that money and having a better time in the arcade across the way from you. Merry Christmas!"
