If you are looking for the stressful high pressure selling experience that you would expect from corporate chains like Zales or Diamonds Direct, look someplace else. I promise you however, that the personalized and honest experience from Alistair is so much better. Jonathan, the owner of the company, was very professional and kind, and took the time to listen to what I was looking for in a ring. What stood out to me about Jonathan was his honesty and transparency. He didn't try to upsell me on a more expensive ring or pressure me to spend beyond my budget. Instead, he worked closely with me to find a ring that was not only beautiful but also affordable. Throughout the process, Jonathan was incredibly patient and understanding. He answered all of my questions and provided helpful advice on everything from diamond quality to ring styles. He took the time to educate me on the rating system for color/clarity/etc so that I had a better understanding of what makes one diamond more desirable than another. I told him I planned on proposing in the Maldives, and he even gave me tips on how to discreetly get the ring to the other side of the earth without her catching on and ruining the surprise! He truly went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my purchase. In the end, I ended up with a stunning engagement ring that my (now) Fiancé adores. It's everything I wanted in a ring and more ring that I imagined was possible with my budget. I couldn't have asked for a better experience or a more trustworthy jeweler than Alistair Diamonds.
