"I had a non routine sonogram in the Bellmore office. The results are available immediately. Dr Frenkel took three weeks to read the report return my numerous calls for the results. Again, it was not a routine sonogram. Her indifference to my pain and concerns were disturbing and unprofessional."

"I carried around a deceased fetus in my womb for WEEKS without knowing. All because this office didn't do a basic exam. I went in for confirmation of pregnancy at around 8 weeks, I had no insurance at the time so they made me pay up front before even seeing the doctor. They told me the $400 charged would be for my lab work to confirm pregnancy etc. Then I met with Dr. Frankel. She was very short worded and vague. First she only did a pap smear. No sonogram, no blood work. She rattled off a bunch of pregnancy related information and when I asked for perhaps a pamphlet or list of these topics She simply stated that she doesn't have any here (Woodmere office) only at the other office. (So why schedule a pregnant patient here??) I left the appointment with no blood work, urine collection, or any confirmation of pregnancy. When I called back to ask why I was still being charged $400 now they state that was only to be seen? When originally I was told it was for all my labs. I finally yet an appointment with another Dr, and it was a couple weeks later. That Dr performed a sonogram and stated my baby had passed at 8 weeks. Something Dr Annie Frankel would have caught if she had did any sort of exam on me. Instead I carried around a deceased fetus for WEEKS without knowing. Shortly thereafter I started to miscarry and lost my baby. I will never forgive this office or the staff."

"My review is for Dr. Frenkel. She is simply amazing, the most personable, friendly, best bedside-manner doctor I’ve ever been to. She’s been supporting me on a nearly 10 year journey of HPV, pre-cancer cells, and surgery. And it’s stress all the time every year at the same time but she is reassuring and wonderful. I am sad to see most of these reviews reflecting her personally and not the separate “LI Women’s Care Northwell Health”—the office she works out of with about a half dozen other doctors. The office on the other hand IS ROUGH. They are often over booked and with long wait times. There’s probably too many doctors for them to manage. One thing I will say is that with OBGYN offices, you have to expect that things will happen when a patient somewhere is going into labor and she has to cancel everything to be there. It throws off appointments big time so if you can’t handle that go to a practice that is gyno only. That being said the women who work there are not as nice as Dr. Frenkel at all, and the office is not a well-oiled machine. Call backs are tough. They need a new office manager to whip everything into shape from scheduling, to service behaviors. Pro Tip: Make your appointments for way in advance, for as soon as they open—earliest appointment. It’s empty, no waits, no one is stressed behind the desk and you’re in & out. But for Dr. Frenkel I’ll wait. I genuinely believe she’s been saving my life from cervical cancer for 10 years."

"Dr. Frenkel completely misdiagnosed me with an issue I had been suffering from for over a year. I saw her several times complaining of pelvic pain, but not once did she ever perform a simple pelvic exam on me. It wasn't until I finally decided to seek out a new OBGYN that I got an actual diagnosis and proper treatment for my condition - on the first visit. Maybe if Dr. Frenkel cared about her patients as much as she does about her Tik Toks she would be a better doctor."

"We recently visited Dr. Frenkel for a simple check up for my mother and to get a referral for a mammography. She was extremely pleasant and friendly, great bedside manner. So much so, that I considered changing my OB/GYN for her. Well, definitely won’t be doing that. My mothers mammography showed something serious. I called her office several times to try to get in touch with her or someone in their clinical staff for guidance. Fast forward to many phone calls and very limited communication with her clinical staff (because she NEVER comes to the phone), my mom ended up having breast cancer (the radiology doctor was the one to break the news). I tried to get in touch with her office after getting the diagnosis to be told she couldn’t talk, she was busy. Finally, she called us later on that day and the first words out of her mouth were “I heard you were looking for me”. There was no bedside manner or sympathy, it was as if my mom had stubbed her toe. She told us my mom needed to see a specialist, and asked if we wanted recommendations. She didn’t explain what type of cancer she has, how advanced it is, literally NOTHING! She told us to go see a specialist, that was the extent of our conversation. My mom won’t be going back to her and I certainly won’t be switching over. She clearly doesn’t deal well with complications or serious diagnosis so everyone should stay far away."
