The Figure Studio

"The figure studio is such a welcoming shared group workout space for women with a variety of fitness classes to help you look and feel your best. They have sessions that range from cardio all the way to weights and toning. The instructors are incredibly friendly and I always feel encouraged to stay within my comfort zone but also push myself. The girlies at the studio also contribute to a warm & judgement-free environment. They also host group events to bond & build community with fellow fitness girls!"

"The Figure Studio is such a great part of the community. The owner, Tish, does so much to empower women and girls. My daughter was almost 4 when she was a part of the first pilot dance program and has taken Bollywood, ballet and hip hop classes there. Since day one, she has considered that "her" dance school. We tried other dance studios and this is the one that felt like home to her. The classes helped build up her confidence and gave her a sense of belonging. Recently, I had a dilemma for my daughter's birthday where the venue cancelled due to the weather because it was outdoors. It was short notice and I didn't know what to do and reached out to Tish. She was amazing to work with and understood my situation. She trusted us with the studio and she even helped us set up. My daughter was so excited and proud to have her birthday party at "her" dance school! I am so grateful for The Figure Studio and am proud of all they continue to do."

"I have been looking for a fitness class that really speaks to me, mind body and soul, a group that I feel I can connect with on multiple levels, and at the Figure Studio I think I’ve found it. It’s not just the workout, the music, or the Cardio, heck I’ve the fact is I have only been coming for a short time and participated in a few classes, but already I feel the sisterhood here, the few instructors I’ve worked with, Trish, Dita and crazy but lovely and energetic Cherylle they are a blast, the workouts you will get from these certified ladies will surely make you love coming here. The Figure Studio also offers a virtual option for those that can’t make it to the studio so if you live out of State and looking for a workout with a difference, try a Socacize class I bet you will get moving, burn calories and feel good about yourself after, give it a try, I honestly am eager to try the Zumba and Yoga sessions next….Allison"

"I love EVERYTHING about the Figure Studio (TFS). The space that the owner Tish has cultivated over the years for community organizing work to have a home has been pivotal to the women's empowerment we're collectively seeking to uplift. The Figure Studio has served as home to my organization South Queens Women's March's food and essential distributions, our period supply giveaways, and our art as healing nights. Many of the members of SQWM have also benefited from the existence of the studio for their health and wellness utilizing fun and empowering dance and fitness classes. I can't say enough about the kind and thoughtful nature of this business, and the way everything TFS does is curated with class, compassion and community in mind."
