"I want to like the gym, but there is always a problem, either no towels, no soap, no wipes to clean the equipment, or the showers do not work. Also, why are all the lockers taken when no one is in the gym?"

"This club is outdated and dirty. I used to go here in my twenties and it has not been updated since then. The service here though is very nice the front entrance person was helpful. Roaches everywhere and both saunas not functioning and bathing suit dryer broken as well"

"Been with NYSC for 10 years but after Covid the service has plummeted. They give out 1 towel, to work out, to use the sauna, and then to shower. But when you try to shower the bathroom has no soap, so use the same dirty towel over and over just to rinse yourself with water and no soap. To think they are increasing the price of the gym, for what?"

"Ok gym but wouldn’t recommend for swimmers. There are only two lanes and pool hours are VERY limited. For members, it is only available 7am-noon and 6-7pm. Have been going for a couple weeks and it is not uncommon to have to share a small lane with 3-4 other swimmers while the other lane is filled with classes. They should make dedicated hours for just classes but I highly doubt they will. If you look at other reviews you can see that a lot of others have voiced their opinions about pool hours and management has just replied “oh we’ll reevaluate for the fall blah blah blah.” If you’re looking for a pool, look elsewhere."

"The worst gym I have been to in my life. They claim to have new improved management. Having been a member for 7 years now, I would disagree. The management is terrible. Where does one start? Lockers with doors falling off their hinges, dirty bathrooms, toilet seats do not match the toilets and some falling off! No soap in the bathrooms, some bathroom stall doors do not lock and/or doors falling off hinges, towels are dirty and/or unavailable. This gym’s computers are never working! Lol they can never scan your phone/key fob, regularly accuse members of not paying their monthly dues! The machines are not maintained, weight machines in particular are always dirty. During locker talk in the change room at least 2 other members have the same complaints. The E41st location is better as is Park, but staff is as lazy at these locations. NYC we need a better gym!"
