"I wanted to check this school out but want to know their around-about price before investing in my time and energy. w Was told they don't do pricing over the phone and that I will have to come in person. That was said repeatedly without explanation. SMH.. I don't know, but when I can't get a rough estimate before going to their gym, I feel manipulation is afoot. as if they want you on their grounds around the equipment and other people as a form of pressure to stretch your budget for them. which in some cases, is not equally the cost across all members according to cost rates. To Bronx Martial Arts Academy Owner/Manager: If I could have gotten an estimated price, I would have no problem going for an introduction and consultation. But to hold that information for possible clients, takes away there ability to decide the best option for them. My suggestion: create a chart/ breakdown on your website that gives a round about estimate of cost. Or an explanation on why it can not be discussed via phone. PS: This raises a ed flag for me."

"If I can leave a 10 star review I would!! This is by far the cleanest school/dojo/gym I have seen. Professor Doug is honestly such a sweet individual. His team/family are so wonderful. When you come in you just see everyone focus and just ready to go. The school its self is spacious and not cramped which makes it great. Seeing also that there are classes for littles was amazing as well. I can see that they love coming here. I will definitely be bringing my little one here in the future."

"My son has been taking classes here for about two months and we're mostly happy with the experience. The classes can run very big (up to 50 kids in one class!) and the instructor quality varies a bit (someone needs to tell Bernard Clemons that teachers these days don't rely on jokes about corporal punishment and outdated gender stereotypes anymore), but for the most part the staff is very courteous and the classes are effective, specially given their large size. That said, I was disappointed and dismayed to see a political campaign sign prominently displayed on the window facing the dojo the other day. No matter the owner's political affiliation, I think it is inappropriate to advertise it in a place where people come together for a different purpose. If anything, sport should unite and not divide us. Please leave the politics out the door."

"My home away from home. This place has changes my family life for the better. Started with just my children training here now my whole family hits the mats several times a weeks. its a family atmosphere who welcomes all who want to be welcomed. If your looking for a dojo where you become apart of a family this is the place for you. where your missed when your gone, and people are excited to see you when you come back. BMAA is a awsome place to train"
