"This is the second time my little girl had to come to this center for surgery. She was 3 the first time and now she is 4. Honestly, I can’t say enough wonderful things. The ladies up front are so kind. The nurses are so so so sweet as was the anesthesiologists! Hopefully she won’t need anymore surgery but if she does, this is where I’d want her to come!"

"This is my story, had surgery done for both of my eyes. I was informed by Dr. Kavitz's office there would be a small charge for using Melville Surgery Center where he likes to do his surgeries. On both days of surgery I gave the front desk payments total of $940 (out of pocket) which occurred in January 10th & 24th. Come April 15th, I was sent a letter stating there was a balance due of $350? Unwared of this balance, on May 25th, I called the Surgery center. I spoke to a Ms. Cassie to ask why the balance and she explained it was for one of my len implant that they overlooked to charged. I informed her that I wasn't aware of the extra charge of $350. After her explanation I would like to make this payment to clear this up. She informed me that there was nothing she can do since it already had gone to collection a week ago on May 17th!. I ask to speak to the manager and she listen but also nothing she can do. Now there was an added charge of $87.50 to $350.00. Melville Surgery personnel there interest in not the people. Why must I be PENALIZED for their mistake! I was ill from March - April for 3 weeks with severe pain and taking medication. I called the collection agency and Scott was not waiving the fee and set me up on a monthly payment plan. This is so unfair we as senior citizen have to go through so much to make ends meet. I would not recommend Melville Surgery Center. They should have at least given me more time to pay for their mistake!!!"

"I had to have surgery and I don’t remember the name of this nurse but she was so nice and made sure I was calm while I was going under today. I just remember she was young, brunette, and was in the OR. Toni was also sweet too. I appreciate when medical staff are caring so I wanted to make sure the people in charge knew."
