"This practice is an absolute disgrace. the woman Janet who hands customer related affairs is down right nasty and lacks etiquette on how to speak to patients. I have been a patient here for over a decade I was found to require a procedure/surgery be done and requested to make an appt with one of the drs vs a PA and she called it a surgery but said that's not possible to schedule. they told me they don't do that I can not have my dr perform the procedure but it can only be performed by their office if I schedule with a PA. She insulted me in saying my procedure was not a big deal and that PAs are perfectly equipped to perform that procedure. I am sure they are and I'm not dismissing their ability to perform that procedure however I wanted my DR who I treat with there to perform the procedure. This decision is clearly all about billing they want to bill me for a surgery and bill a dr's rate while having a PA perform their procedure. I will NEVER go back to this office for treatment and suggest if you are shopping around for a dermatologists office you look elsewhere because these folks don't care about you or your treatment they will insult you, your concerns and clearly only care about your $$$$."

"Second time going there. I definitely liked this doctor better than the first. My one star has to do with billing. As the first time I do not have a deductible on my medical just a co-pay. I get a little apprehensive giving doctors my credit card info since all I pay is my co pay. The office likes to keep a credit card on file I guessed no big deal. I saw a bill on my credit card for monies owed. I called up and spoke to the office manager. Was told yes there is no deductible just a copay. It was their fault as the doctors number used somehow was not registered with Aetna. Office Manger said we will re-submit with the correct number and credit your card. This was about a month ago. I had to put a dispute in with the credit card company. I spoke to a woman in the billing dept who told me you have a deductible and take it up with Aetna. it's none of our business. Although the office manager stated it was their error this doctor is covered by Aetna we put in the wrong number. The girl in billing couldn't care less. Said you call Aetna and take care of this. It's been almost a month and no credit on my card. I did confirm that Aetna turned around and paid it. I had to call Aetna and work this out based on the correct Doctor number. Horrible experience dealing with billing even the office. Be careful they are quick to charge for their errors maybe even double bill if not paying attention. Hopefully I will see my credit soon my card company is waiting for a response. Terrible that I have to go through this and call Aetna and my credit card company. All they had to do is when Aetna said this number is not theirs we are charging your patient with out of network look into it. I was in there they knew the last time Aetna paid they are an in network provider. They knew they gave Aetna a bogas number. Plus if I go to an in network provider why would I use an out of network doctor. The credit card should only be used for legit deductibles not to bill someone with full coverage because they make a mistake and just didn't care to correct it I should not have been billed."

"I received a bill for services from Dr. Fermenia through Columbia. I am not a patient and have never been to this practice. Called office and found out a patient same last name and birth year was seen on date of service and bill was sent mistakenly sent to me. Promised it would be resolved immediately a month ago. Received a text from Columbia bill is not paid. Not very thorough with their billing or quick to correct their mistake.UPDATE: APRIL 2021 Still not resolved and office keeps ignoring addressing their error."
