"If you're looking for a convenient clinic within your network I urge you to try another place. I chose this PCP because I needed a place in my neighborhood. There are several reasons why I haven't and won't be returning here. 1) The doctor is never in the office so whenever you arrive for an appointment you're "greeted" by the receptionist. I don't know her name but she's a Caribbean lady who always has an attitude regardless of time of day. She isn't very helpful and generally gives an energy of wishing she wasn't there. 2) The nurse who usually checks your vitals. She's 5% more friendly than the receptionist but carries the same unapproachable vibe. I've received better customer service and hospitality at a CityMD and Elmont PC is supposed to be a privately owned clinic. 3) The quality of care matches the quality of customer service. After coming in for a routine checkup I confided in the head nurse (who acts in absence of the doctor) that I was experiencing unexplained chest pain that made it difficult to breathe. She agreed to run tests. The equipment at this facility resembles fisher price toys, unsurprisingly they couldn't determine what the issue is and gave me a referral. The only saving grace is the hospitality the head nurse demonstrated. I don't know any of their names but she's the one you see after checking in and having your vitals checked. She's kind, courteous and respects pronouns. I won't be returning to this clinic and will be searching the healthfirst database for a different PCP. I'm writing this review for futures residents searching for a PCP. Don't settle for mediocre care! You deserve better"

"What a great environment for a first comer if you’re looking for a family Doctor. The ppl care there. I’ve been like family (That’s how they’ll have you feel) they check on you ... and make room for your emergency. I’ve been there for 12 to 13 years and come a ways.I want to say thanks you for service because some things go in unrecognized . you’re Appreciated"
