"Dr. Boukhris is lovely and thorough; however office staff and nurse are incompetent and/or don’t communicate. Waited 40 min for a PPD (TB) test. When I was finally called in I saw a blood vial. I asked the nurse why there was a vial for a PPD test, so she went to “check.” Came back and told me that they don’t have any in the office. Un-f***ing-believable."

"Local, aesthetically pleasing, professional and kind staff; particularly, Michelle. First appointment was expedited to address my young ballerina’s foot to get her back on pointe. Andrew Shapiro is professional and knowledgeable..two very different qualities; both exceptional. He spoke at length with my teen, explaining the procedure, potential complications, recovery time. The individualized care and attention empowered my teen to make her own decisions about her body. Surgery went well, recovery time was better than expected. Follow-up calls were quickly addressed and notes for school were faxed immediately. I highly recommend Andrew Shapiro and his staff at HVHG."

"Dr. Boukhris is a great, kind-hearted doctor with amazing bedside manners. However, some of their staff fail to fully complete their tasks and communicate with patients. Aside from all the unnecessary labs drawn which you do not know what they are testing for since it's done in their office, the dx codes do not apply correctly for the patient. They fail to tell you if you are active, need to update demographics or if you have an outstanding bill. Unfortunately at 22 years old, a lot of this was new to me and my lack of experience led me to over $400 debt with HVHG. However NO statements were ever sent to my home, they claim that they did not have a correct address, but no one ever cared to update info when I came in for visits. My mail was redirected for 1 whole year, i NEVER saw a bill. Why in the world would i keep going to keep adding bills to myself? I finally was made aware at one of my visits when they had some new staff and new office location, almost 3 years later!!! I updated me and my husband's address this year when we were told about it and they had an address from 6 years ago! Unbelievable. Mary, from billing was not helpful addressing this issue, she said she wasn't there at that time so it wasn't her problem, left me talking to myself and then decides to involve my title, occupation and knowledge. Why does that even matter here! Very unhappy with them and the way they handle their patients. Just another number I guess so this is the only reason why i decided to switch practice because aside from all this, Dr. Boukhris is amazing."
