"I have worked with Ms. Kim since I was in middle school and she has really helped me advance all of my reading and writing skills, but most importantly, she was the biggest reason why I was able to get into the college that was my top choice. I did college consultation with her throughout high school and she has been the biggest help in my college admissions process. With her guidance and support, the process was a little less daunting. She has encouraged and pushed me to be the best student I could be and I truly could not have made it this far without her."

"I have been a student at THINK & WRITE since I was in 5th grade. I first started off taking the reading classes with Ms. Kim. It was a struggle for me to get my homework done at first because I was not used to reading books weekly. Ms. Kim pushed me as a student and now I am more comfortable being able to read novels and decipher them. I worked with Ms. Kim with my college application process since my sophmore year. She emphasized starting early for the common app essay. I am thankful to her for being strict because I was able to get my applications done in a timely manner. I was accepted to New York University and it was all due to Ms. Kim’s guidance and dedication. Mr. Nevarez, the math teacher, is another great teacher at THINK & WRITE. I was one of his first students when he first started teaching here and now it feels surreal that I will be graduating soon. We often had discussions related to mathematics and he really provides insight on many aspects that are normally overlooked. He has taught me many things throughout the years. Thank you Ms. Kim & Mr. Nev. I could’ve never done it without you guys!"

"Think and Write has been incredibly invaluable in helping me not only academically, but with growing as a person. I attended Think and Write starting from early elementary school to all the way through my senior year in high school. Now I am a student at New York University, and looking back at my time at Think and Write makes me realize just how much of an impact it has had on me. I often found myself struggling with the assignments, but the more challenges I faced, the more growth I was able to see within my academics. At Think and Write, the last program I was involved with was related to the college application process and I can say with confidence that it improved my chances in getting into the colleges I wanted to. Whether it be having strict deadlines to keep me on track, or making sure I was able to express myself well in my essays, the program always helped me in ways I would not have been able to do alone. I honestly do not know if I would be currently attending New York University if not for the guidance I received. The instructors here are amazing. Ms. Kim expects the best out of her students and is able to draw it out of them if they are willing to put in the effort. Her strict yet caring approach to teaching has helped me achieve better grades in school and see my own potential as a student. Mr. Nevarez is the most understanding and patient mathematics teacher I have ever had, and is also just a great role model. He explains content very well and whenever I was able to take his classes, I felt extremely confident in my performance in mathematics at school. Thank you Ms. Kim for all the help you have provided me across so many years, and I wish you luck in teaching more generations to come!"

"If you scroll through enough of these reviews, you might notice that I left a rating of Think and Write under the name "JonginDonuts" 6 years ago (meaning I was in 8th grade at the time). It just seems like yesterday when I entered Think and Write for the first time in 3rd grade and said my last goodbye to Ms. Kim as a high school senior. Now here I am as a freshman at Princeton University realizing how much I learned from this educational academy. Ms. Kim's intensive style of teaching writing/reading has stuck with me to this very day as I continue taking English classes here in Princeton. I still hear her voice in my head telling me when I write a run-on sentence or use improper grammar in my essays. I see her disappointed look urging me to do better if I ever try to cut any corners. And I tutor other students in reading/writing as a writing fellow using the writing skills she taught me. However, the best part of this educational academy is how much Ms. Kim cares for her students to succeed and improve. She constantly shows us the value of hard and diligence while at the same time giving us the support and care that we need to accomplish our tasks. The students here are very friendly, as I was pretty shy when I first attended. However, over time, I became friends with the students here. The teachers here instill discipline in the students and are strict but friendly. The teachers follow a strict policy, which is different compared to other tutors that I’ve been at.
