"My daughter and I love the Bronx Bops program at the Bronx School for Music. All of the staff are welcoming and friendly. I was always informed on any updates and I was always able to reach someone if I had a question. The school is clean and safe. The program it self is so much fun!!! The children have so much fun learning through play. So excited for her to join the fall semester. I highly recommend this school!!"

"My kiddo has been taking music classes at Bronx School for Music the last two and half years. We feel so lucky to have this amazing school move to the neighborhood. Andy has been amazing with teaching classical guitar and advancing skills that they already knew. They work so well together. Positive teaching and creating good work ethic in the kids as well. My kiddo also takes voice and has had a lovely time with the teachers. Savannah has been a fantastic addition to the school. Mr Betson has been fantastic working with my kiddo on teaching them music theory. He is very passionate and really loves working with the students."

"We have signed up all our children to music classes here. Bronx Bops is a fun musical class for young children. We all enjoyed the songs they learned and the kids would sing them at home. Our oldest is in piano lessons here and it’s been beneficial for many reasons. His math abilities have increased, memory, confidence and tactile strength."

"I am so happy to have found the Bronx School for Music. I was pleased to learn that Phillip started this school in the Bronx particularly to bring the opportunity of learning music to Bronx youth. The school also offers classes like Music Theory and Eurythmics which enhance learning. My daughter has been taking guitar lessons with Andy for about 2yrs. It's been a wonderful experience. Andy is everything you would want in a music teacher. He is patient, encouraging and shows my daughter different techniques so she can continue improving. He is a very talented musician and his extensive knowledge and love of music combined with his enthusiasm and good nature is essential in my daughter's growth as a musician."

"We absolutely love the Bronx School for Music! The house itself is so charming. The outdoor recital space.... you just have to see it. The owner is very welcoming and does a great job guiding you through the registration process. My daughter has been taking private guitar lessons from Andy for a year, she is 6 now. Andy is excellent. Incredible "can do" attitude. He brings a wealth of knowledge about guitar and music theory. Andy does a great job of balancing the lessons, hard work with some fun sprinkled in. Additionally, Andy is reliable and a great communicator. We are so glad we found the school. Highly recommend the guitar program! Can't speak for the other programs, but all of the instructors I've encountered in the house seem very nice."
