"My mother was in the 1st graduating class when school opened in 1963 (i think) and I graduated in 1983. CCHS was the best school in the Bronx. Remembering Grace Rosa, Mr. Lamanga, Mr. Fabinsky, Mr. Frank Lanzano and all my teachers, fellow students, security staff, and of course Janet the elevator operator. Damn shame the DOE wouldn't support this school. Love and peace dear friend."

"I went to Columbus H.S. for several months after graduating from Olinville. J.H.S. P.S. 113 back in 83. Later we moved to North Jersey. It was a bit dicey back then. Big police presence and racial tension. I was on the cross country team. Funny, we as a team never had racial or ethnic tension. Never a dull moment and I did enjoy all of my instructors."

"outstanding school their was never a dull moment wheni went to that school i graduated from columbus and was also a part of the student aide i had some good and bad experiences in their but it would be a great school because they have a great school and a staff that never gives up on you no matter what .. they push their students to do all that they can and taughtme that no matter what push through it ..i love it wish i could do it all over again"
