Tutor Time of Baldwin

"Tutor Time in Baldwin is a joke of a daycare… the director Toni and most of the staff there care about their image (licenses) than our children. My son and other boys were hit, slapped, spanked and shoved into the toilet by one of their teachers Yanina Aliga-Garcia. I took my son as soon as I found out but Toni knew this woman hitting many boys from before all along from years ago. Only solution they had about all this to shut parents’ mouths was to fired her and have one of the TAs that reported this to stay quiet and not to talk to the police after I called them. Also this place is unsanitary from bugs in the water sinks to plumbing issues and mold in the bathroom walls reason why all the kids in there are always sick. To having hired and knowingly who they hired a drug addict and being high while taking care of our children is beyond disgusting. Another child was sprayed with bleach into his hair and face because the teacher “thought” it was a spray water bottle and wanted to do the kid’s hair. You’re going to tell me that this woman could not tell the smell of bleach from water? Other children being molested and being insulted or mistreated and talked about as if they were an adult. Toni has also insulted parents (me) behind their (my) back(s) and thinking that it is ok to do so. The environment between the staff there is also horrible. Grown women insulting, fighting and bullying each other is beyond unprofessional and when reported to higher personnel like Toni or Management it just gets overlooked. Only solutions to everything wrong with this place is to fired the person and if you’re not on Toni’s team then she’s not going to watch out for you. Management, Toni, CPS and Licensing do not care for the wellbeing of our children. This place needs to be shut down. I cannot believe I was at one point so happy to have my kid there. DO NOT TRUST WHAT YOU SEE IN THE CAMERAS ON YOUR APP, EVERYTHING USUALLY HAPPENS IN THE BATHROOMS (HUGE BLINDSPOT FOR ALL THE PARENTS)"

"This Tutor Time means A LOT to my family. My first daughter is now in K and she started here when she was 2 during COVID I am an RN and I needed somewhere that I knew would remain open as best they can so I can go to work during the horrible pandemic. My daughter absolutely loved all of her teachers so much!! She even went back this past summer for summer camp. My second daughter is now 2 and has been going here since she’s 6 months old. I have never had any major issues at all! The communication is great the teachers are great with updating the SproutAbout App so you see and know what’s going on throughout your child’s day. The center is always clean! The chef Frankie and housekeeper are SO friendly to both the parents and the children. Miss Toni the director runs a well oiled ship in here! Any issues someone has I always hear her listening and ready to make any necessary changes. Her assistant Mariel does amazing as well. Ms Edith does an amazing job planning activities and summer trips. Overall I am beyond grateful for Tutor time and what it has done for my family thank you!!!"

"My son was at Tutor Time in Baldwin for over two incredible years! He learned so much during his time there and we have great memories. The teachers and staff were very caring and always went above and beyond for our son. He started pre-K this year and was very well prepared for everything he’s doing in his current class."

"This particular tutor time holds a special place in my heart. The staff is truly some of the most hardworking individuals in existence. It's clean, they keep you informed of class closures (particularly during covid,) and most importantly, they hear you. (TT Corporate - if any of yall read this, give them all a raise, ffs.) You're never going to find childcare that doesn't have some bumps, issues, concerns, etc. But at this particular location, they hear your concerns, make adjustments when appropriate or talk you through the reasoning/story behind those concerns. My son has been going to this tutor time since 2019, and this morning I just dropped him off for his last day before he starts kindergarten. I AM GOING TO MISS YALL SO MUCH! Miss Toni, Miss Liz, Miss Jess, Miss Tiffany, thank yall for everything!"

"I enrolled my sweet, baby girl there several months ago. They are attentive to her needs and keep an open line of communication. Very happy thus far with their services. Would recommend for all age groups."
