Tutor Time of New Hyde Park

"Please do not send your kids to this place. they are highly understaffed they are not treating the kids the right way. I went in for a walkthrough for my kid and i saw outside a teacher yank the little child up on his arm for running in a playground like really? After i went into the other class room and i seen a teacher ignore one of the crying babies and was sitting on her phone. Do better. This is terrible don’t send your babies here."

"My daughter attended there for more than a year. She was quite happy. The best part I like is that it is family owned and they are pretty receptive to feedback. They can also make room for the sibling. They also can make siblings see each other during the day once in a while which is a great asset. They were mostly good at following my daughter’s dietary restrictions. Their teachers are also pretty stable (not a lot of turnaround), although one or two did not have a lot of patience. Kids celebrated a lot of birthdays there, I think that is bc the families who have kids there are also nice people. We finally switched to a different daycare to utilize the 3k program. Otherwise we were happy."

"Went there today to ask for a tour to place our 2.5 year old. We went with our 4 month old in a stroller. Once you open the front door there is a landing and then 4 steps up to get to the main front security door. We rang the bell and there was nobody in sight. We waited a few minutes and a pizza delivery guy shows up with a pizza. He rang the bell several times (obviously in a hurry) and nobody came. He got frustrated and walked out (I wish we had as well). Just then a lady came slowly lumbering down the hall to open the door. We told her we wanted a tour and she said some other lady would assist. She started to retreat and I asked her if there was another entrance with a ramp. She said there is one outside around the corner. I though it was odd that she did not volunteer that information, as we were standing at the bottom of the stairs with a stroller. We went around the corner and it was a good 5 minutes before she showed up to let us in that side door. The other heavy-set lady was waiting at the reception desk and asked us how she could help us. We told her we were interested in their location for our child and we would like a tour. She quickly went into the soup guy on Seinfeld mode. She started telling us things that we could not do, and the number one thing was a tour. Only a virtual tour. What a waste of time. That stupid tour was available online. We told her we were no longer interested and left. They are very disrespectful to the people that pay their salary, the parents. I can imagine what those poor children have to endure. From the looks of other review on here (I didn't see those until now) those kids are very unlucky to be stuck in this place."
