"Great place for special needs children! My special needs child went there for 2 years, returning to our district for kindergarten. The progress she made at Variety was tremendous. Unfortunately, since returning to our zone school she has regressed (services are extremely lacking here). I really thank the teachers and assistants whom helped my little girl at Variety for 2 years. You really made a difference in her life."

"The social skill group Saturday not worth $50 a class. It was a total $525. 00 disappointment. Whenever there was one less instructor on a Saturday, they put all the kids in one small room making it very difficult and too crowded. The first time it happened, we figured, OK it’s a one time thing, but then it happened again. We did have a good instructor that tried to manage the group, that’s the reason I didn’t give it 1 star, but it was a waste of time and money. In theory it seemed like a good program."

"95 percent of the time classrooms are dirty throughout the whole day because teachers dont clean anything! They believe its strictly the custodians job to clean at night. Throughout the whole day your children are playing and rolling around on dusty and dirty floors its not safe nor sanitary. I would not have my 3 year old there. Its a disgrace to see that very few teachers clean up after activities with the children. Play dough and clay stuck to the carpets, dirty desks and tabletops and dirty floors are just some of the things I have seen there. The worst part is the person in charge sees nothing wrong with this. During sanitation inspections everyone rushs around to make everything spotless the very last second instead of doing the right thing throughout the entire week. The teachers are all close friends hired by someone who runs the program in which makes the teachers heavily favored in any situation right or wrong. The few teachers and staff who talked to me had no knowledge of opwdd and seemed inexperienced when it came to questions asked. Many of the teachers aids looked like they were 18 years old right out of high school and some classrooms have pictures of staff posing together in a very unprofessional attire. Its just sad to see there is no pride taken especially when it comes to the safety and health of our children who we are sending there. Maybe one day they will get there act together"
