"I believe our 2 daughters were among the first to attend Friends Child Care & Preschool. My wife and I both worked and had tried several options before we found Pat MacKenzie. She was an answer to our prayers. We could not hope for a more nurturing environment for our girls. Rather than just sit our daughters in front of a TV, or leave them in a playpen, she involved them in many educational activities. They often came home with craft items that they had made. And they looked forward to going back the next day. When our daughters finally started Kindergarten, they were far ahead of their peers. I highly recommend Pat to anyone looking for a day care provider who is a cut above the rest."

Pat had our eldest reading before entering Kindergarten, and both of our children were well prepared for their transition to school on both an educational and social level. In later years Pat was able to give our children help with their transition to school busses, and she provided a nurturing after-school environment for them, where they could do their homework and relax.
