"They’ll treat you in ways THEY want to make money. I came here before as I dealt with tinea versicolor pityrosporum folliculitis, but I didn’t know I had that at the time. They instead said I have diabetes and thyroid issues and that for the other problems on my skin I should get a biopsy and all these unnecessary treatments. They did a biopsy on my sister’s arm for NOTHING and scarred her for life because of it, and now they recommended that to me? Just another way of making money. At the time I was smart enough to say “no”. As I head out, they were trying to charge me with all these eyebag treatments which I didn’t even need? It’s so bad. They were extremely unhelpful and are money-grabbers. I instead went to Charlotte Dermatology which is SO much better and actually helpful for anything you are dealing with, and doesn’t even care about money."

"I've been here a few times and have always been impressed with every aspect of my visit. It's easy to get into the parking lot and always adequate parking. The office is on the second floor but there's both a stairs and an elevator. The lobby rarely has more than a couple of people and there's lots of room to spread out. The lobby design is spectacular and relaxing and a little too dark to read a book, but I don't depend on a dermatology office for reading space, so all is well. The staff going in and out is always fast and friendly, the assistant is very quick and professional and Dr Darst is very professional and yet personable. He's always done a great job at checking out and treating problems and has been faster with results than expected. My highest recommendation."

"Dr. Darst was very kind, and took his time with me. Communication amongst staff, though, could be improved. After the doctor visit, I was forgotten about for a while as I still had to take a blood test. Finally, I opened the door to see what was happening, and a kind Asian staff member helped me out and brought me to the blood withdrawal area (she saw me waiting when I opened the exam room door). That was very nice and proactive of her. It would also be nice if they disclosed costs up front; i.e. that the eye cream is not insurance covered. By the last check out receptionist said, " by the way, this is not covered under your Health Savings Account." Would be good if they are more clear and up front about these things. Check in person at reception was very friendly."
