Tony's Appliance Repair 4202 54th Avenue Northeast, Hickory, NC 28601

"I thought i was calling Tony's Repair. When in fact AWAD Appliance , is who came to my house. I was unaware until he told me to write the check to AWAD, When i questioned that, he said he was in the process of buying out Tony's (this was Feb 2021) Steve Cramer, the card he gave me, was literally at my house for 5 mins, and charged me 86.40 i HAD to pay RIGHT THEN. He said he would order the water value, and would be back to replace it, and i only had to pay for the part then. Needless to say after MANY MANY calls from me, they kept telling me the part was still on back order. I called another Company, They came out on June 24 and order part and had it June 29. I will be leaving other reviews actually on AWADS sites. I just wanted to give you heads up , Don't call this Company because you are not getting Tony's. I research Companies for a living. And i did my research before calling Tony's. THIS company AWAD has really bad reviews. HE is working on Tony's repair reviews. AWAD had no intentions of coming back. He should be ashamed as i am a single widowed woman on a budget, And now im out of 86.40 for NOTHING!!!!!!!"

"Steve - the repairman I guess was supposed to be at my house to look at my washing machine between 11 and 1 Friday . I was informed by the lady who set up the appointment that if he would not be able to make it,someone would call and let me know. At 2:00 on Friday still no Steve,no call. I called and got an answering machine.. 3:00 Friday still no show,no call. I called again,answering machine again. Not a very good way to do business! I will gladly give my money to someone else!"

"Appreciate for answering the calls, but why not notifying the client if you can't come on time according to the schedule? Tried to be understanding, but my patience was being tested. I have other appointments to attend to so I specifically called off this day. They didn't come and still haven't the next day (like promised to)! I don't know how many times I've called them.."

"I appreciate a repairman who is honest and straightforward. Folks like that are truly hard to find. We have used Tony several times and each time I knew he would tell it like it is. He explained exactly what was wrong with the appliance, what it would take to fix it and how much the fix would cost. He didn't sugarcoat it, which I appreciate as well. When you need something fixed, you need hard facts. He will be one to give those to you. If you have an appliance in your home on the blink, don't hesitate to call Tony. He will treat you right."
