Kyuramen - Long Island City

"Great little spot in Long Island city for Ramen. I’ve come here multiple times and every single time the service is really good. I appreciate it when people take the time to make your experience feel personal. The first time our waiter took a lot of time to explain the menu, which made it easy to order a time from there on out. They have black garlic as a featured ingredient on their menu that you can add to all your Ramen if you want to kick it up a notch! I highly recommend doing that because it adds a unique flavor. That’ll make this Ramen seem different, and might make for a fun & interesting Ramen night, if you’re into trying new things. I also really like the way they maximize the use of the space by making these really cute honeycomb vertical cubbies that you can sit in. I think they’re super cozy and again adds an element to the experience that you don’t get in a lot of other places because you’re not sitting up high like that. we’ve tried several different Ramen and they were all tasty and we got a couple desserts, which were also very good. ◡̈ I tried an Apple flavored sake that was way too sweet for me though, it tasted like a green jolly rancher! Not for me! >_"

"I like Ramen and chicken karaage a lot. For the curry rice with the Egg on top, I felt like there was a very light taste. I was impressed by the look but the taste was ok. Overall, it's is comfortable place to stop by, and the services were perfect"

"Fun place! They sit us in the hexagon box upstairs. Love their ramen! They also have great vegetarian and chicken ramen options. What we didn’t like was fried octopus… But matcha layered cake was awesome! I want to try the other flavors too"

"After yesterday's torrential rain,, I desperately needed something To warm me up. I arrived just around 5 o'clock . It wasn't crowded.. I already knew I was going to order the tonkatsu ramen combination special that comes with Thai Iced tea, and a pork bao. The Thai Iced tea was great ..not too sweet. The tonkatsu Ramen was delicious. The noodles had the perfect "chew", the broth well flavored, the pork slices not too fatty, and the jammy egg perfectly cooked. I did not try the pork bao as yet because I did not want to be to full to enjoy my soup. Of course, I had to try the popular dessert. The Japanese cherry blossom jelly... A lot of individuals have said its too sweet but I think it was perfect depending on how much of the syrup you pour over. It's very light with just a hint of floral sweetness. And it's truly does have dried cherry blossoms in it. Service was great..my server was very attentive and friendly...no complaints . The size of the restaurant is a bit smaller, but it can accommodate a decent amount of people. No question .I will return to try some of their other popular items."
