"I brought in a pair of my most expensive shoes.. shoes that I love and we made a plan on how to fix them. Of course I left my phone number so when they decided to do something completely different which made them uncomfortable and unwearable I was shocked they didn’t call me to let me know. Glue was left inside the shoe on the insole… when I saw them I cried… at the very least why not call me? Thankfully I was able to have all the damage fixed elsewhere and the sloppy glue was able to be removed."

"UPDATE!!! As of 1/14/23 After bringing my boots to another shop, who confirmed the stains left on my boots are removable, they suggested I bring it back to Crestwood, which I did this past Friday. I was pleasantly surprised the owner took the books back offered to clean them and they would be ready the following day. Happy to report the stains have been removed, and I get hopefully a few more years worth of wear. This is a redeeming post, because I value good service. --------------------------------------------- This is really a zero star rating. VERY DISAPPOINTED, ACTUALLY UPSET with the service received at Crestwood shoe repair. I brought my boots to replace the soles and in return I received my boots stained with what appears to be black dye. I was shocked. I asked what happened. The owner actually said it’s the type of suede. I stated this is not the suede it looks like dye stains I did not bring my boots in like this to which he replied we clean shoes we don’t dirty them AGAIN, shocked not only by the reply but as he stands there with fully black hands and gloves full of dye. I am floored at this level of service all because I want to support a local business. Shame on you! I paid for the cost of my two boots and walked out. Needless to say I will NEVER TRUST THIS ESTABLISHMENT again nor do I suggest anyone bring valued shoes for service. These boots are not cheap, which is why i wanted to repair the soles to begin with. I never asked them to clean them because I know a suede specialist needs to do this work. JUST HORRIBLE! If you do decide to bring your shoes/boots (I don’t know why you would), to crest wood, I suggest you photograph them with a time stamp. Photos attached!"
