"I saw a therapist in the past at Mindpath in Cary but she is no longer there. Thus I had to see a new person in Clayton. What a difference, and not in a good way! He was not friendly at all, kept looking at the clock during the session, and was incredibly blunt in his assessment of my concerns. All in a 50- minute first session. His explanation was that he has been practicing 30+ years and after the first ten years of counseling others with similar problems, he has learned to just cut to the chase and deliver his “radical acceptance” message. He lacked empathy and the desire to fully understand me as an individual patient. I recognize that in every patient and therapist relationship, time is sometimes needed to make progress. Unfortunately he threw in the towel I less than an hour. I won’t return."

"Be aware! I called and scheduled an appointment, I gave the information for BOTH my insurance, United Healthcare and Medicaid. The person KNEW I had these insurance coverages. Day of my appointment they took BOTH my insurance cards and scanned them. Therapist was almost an hour late but finally came to get me. Fast forward a few weeks later I now have a bill from this place! I should have never had any out of pocket expense. When I called they looked it up and told me they are no longer taking Medicade from new patients! Not ONE person told me this beforehand! Had they told me that to start with I would have gotten care elsewhere that doesn't discriminate against new patients! Plenty of other places take BOTH my insurance, why in the world would I go somewhere I have to come out of pocket for when I live on less than $12,000 a year?! I WILL be disputing this and should this not be resolved I will be going to the BBB and anywhere else I need to go. This is a horrible way to treat your new patients!"

"I’ve been treated by Dr.A for a few years and plan to continue my treatment, he makes me feel heard and not like just another patient. The telemedicine appointments make it even easier to schedule appointments around my chaotic life. Definitely recommend!"

"The service by the doctor and staff is great. The problem is the phone system. I have called multiple times wait in the queue as caller one for over 20 minutes. Then get connected to messaging system to leave a message. When getting a call back from staff the system rings on my end once then hangs up. This has been an ongoing problem for over a year. I have to go to the office to actually get connected to someone. Again staff and doctors GREAT! Communication method VERY POOR!"

"I moved to a new city, found out that all the local mental health providers that took my insurance weren't accepting new patients, so I contacted mind path and quickly got video appointments for med management and therapy. I've only had one appointment with each so far, but they were both prompt, professional, and empathetic. I look forward to working with them to manage my mental health and I hope my first impressions hold true. So far the only downside has been that the company is very pushy about reviewing them."
