"This has to be the best hair salon I’ve been to since I started growing my hair. The stylist took her time washing and conditioning my hair. I got a trim too.She asked me questions about my hair and explained everything I was doing wrong with my hair. She was very gentle thru out the whole process. She made me realize that I don’t need to use all those products for my your hair shine. The salon is very nice inside. I will be returning for more treatments on my hair. I definitely would recommend this salon to friends and family."

"I’ve officially sat in every stylist in the salon’s chair. I can fully attest that each and every stylist in the salon being amazing in their craft. This appointment was alittle different for me…it was my birthday appointment which I didn’t schedule till the day of. If you know Nubian you can only imagine my fear of trying to get a full service silk press on a Saturday. Luckily, I was blessed with a 4pm appointment with Kanya. It was my first time getting my hair done but it was nonetheless perfect. From the moment she washed my hair, it felt amazing. It literally felt like she washed and cleansed each individual strand of hair in my head. As a very sensitive scalped girly, I felt nothing but relief when she detangled and combed through my hair. She was a breath of fresh air, her energy was super genuine, and she was beyond patient. Being the last client in the salon can usually feel rushed specifically on a Saturday, but Kanya did not make it feel that way at all she took her time and catered to me. I haven’t had a silk press in year, and this was no disappointment. I will continue recommending Nubian any chance I get. Thank you Kanya for making my birthday special ❤️"

"This was my first time at the Nubian salon and it was worth the 59 min drive. The salon decor was so beautiful and inviting. I didn’t wait long after arriving. The wash/treatment experience usually concerns me because my hair has tangled in other salons. At Nubian, my hair was handle with care and included a steaming treatment with fresh aloe. My hair was detangled with conditioner so it was a rather pain-free blow out. Lastly, the silk pressed turned out great and the cut was done well. The stylist explained what to do to improve the health of my hair and she’s going to send a regimen for me to follow in between visits . I definitely recommend their salon based on my experiences."

"Amazing amazing amazing amazing. I haven’t had my hair straightened since 2016 and am terrified of flat irons! Kanya is so so kind! She was very patient with me and made sure I was okay. She explained how to maintain my style and gave me tips on how to take better care of my hair. They are allergy friendly! If you’re allergic to tree nuts they can accommodate! It’s so chill and nice in there and all the other stylists are nice too! The last two pics are from day 2. I got a Full Service Silk Press"
