"Dr. Sarah Hughes is a very caring and skilled internist. She practices both pediatric and geriatric medicine. I have recently begun taking my teenage daughter to see Dr. Hughes. It was difficult to find a physician in Raleigh that was not in a pediatric group practice, and I feel fortunate to have received a recommendation for this special team within Wake Internal Medicine. Dr. Hughes took a very detailed medical history, asked intelligent questions, actually listened to our responses, and spoke directly to my daughter. She created a safe and open atmosphere.
