"Dr. Marchi Lopez was my son’s pediatrician from the time he was less than a year old, to when he was about five, that we moved out of the area. Next month, my son will be 20. A friend in the area was looking for a pediatrician in the area and I looked to see if he was still practicing, hoping he had not moved. To my delight, he is still in Cary, doesn’t look a day older than 20 years ago, and evidently continues thriving on what he is obviously great at. Children gravitate to him. His charisma, knowledge, incredible bedside manner, respect to different cultural backgrounds and willingness to go above and beyond to help with your child without pushing any of his opinions or beliefs, make him such a trustworthy person. I will always be thankful to him for all the times he took us in on a Saturday morning, after hours on a weekday and even calling on his free time to offer advice. Pediatricians like him, are very rare to find!"

"Many a times we take good things for granted and only review and comment about bad experiences. Just wanted to break out of that and leave a comment about Dr. Lopez and his staff. My son has been visiting Dr. Lopez since we moved here and he was 4. A lot of doctors we visited in the past were too mechanical and too serious for kids. A lot of them lacked the patience you need to work with kids, very young kids I mean. Dr. Lopez is just the opposite. He is playful and funny and all kids just love him. He takes his time to hear you out and play with your kid and then go to the serious part (check up, shots, medicine, etc.). I could go on and on, but just want to say that we are very lucky to find a pediatrician like him. If you want the best doctor for your kid, do visit him and you will know what I am talking about."

"Dr. Lopez has been our Pediatrician since my DD was born; which was 11.9 years ago. Since my daughter could know better she has always ~wanted to go~ to Dr. Lopez. She always gets real excited and happy when I tell her I've made and appointment. And, in turn has always been sad to leave his presence when the appointment ends. Dr. Lopez has the best bed side manner not only to the children but the nervous parents from dealing with breastfeeding to puberty. He always has helpful antidotes on every visit, Never makes you feel like he has probably 3 other patients waiting, makes absolutely sure you have asked all questions before he leaves the room. And, most of all has made the whole experience fun and relaxed. I know I was never happy about going to my Dr. appt. as a child; I'm so glad my DD does not share that same experience. "Wow! Dr. Lopez is my son's (age 2) SIXTH pediatrician-- several others have been dismissive of him, disrespectful to me, or generally incompetent. I was nervous to try yet another Doc....he was awesome! The desk staff were friendly and easy to work with (insurance is still in my old address, they got it figured out), the nurse was super friendly and easygoing, too! Dr. Lopez took plenty of time (we must have been in there talking for 20 minutes?) to play around with and get to know my son before he did anything medical or intimidating. He tickled him, hopped around on the floor, and made animal sounds to make him laugh. Most of the exam was done during play and my son (who is anxious about most doctors) didn't even know it was happening! He actually said midway "I am having fun!". The whole experience from the front door through was excellent, I couldn't be more thrilled with the quality of care and respect for my child's feelings. It is refreshing to see adults treating a child like a real person!"
