"I went there to have dinner with my friends. Cozy ambiance, variety of drinks, welcome staffs. I ordered the salmon which is for me a little overcooked. I will return to try their fried chicken and dessert."

"I've been here several times. Everything about it is great. Specials, appetizers, wine selection, bourbons, dinner entrees, desserts, service.. all great. Jeremy behind the bar... awesome. Four of us were seated immediately with a reservation, which I highly recommend. Water kept coming. Menus arrived quickly. We started with pulled pork kimchi egg rolls and calamari. The calamari is not breaded. It comes with a nice sauce containing chickpeas. Definitely one of my favorite calamari dishes. I tried the sweet potato soup that has pecans and spinach (I believe). The servers description was much better. Nevertheless, the soup was delicious. I also had the strip steak. It was cooked to temp and well seasoned. I got hand cut fries and spinach for sides. We shared :) Great place. At other times, I ordered the Next Door Burger. It's slightly messy, but worth it. Very delicious. Also give the Kermit Lynch Cotes Du Rhone a try; a good red, with hints of cherries, mild oak, and black olive. Pair with beef or pasta, not fish (my opinion)."

"A wonderful restaurant in the heart of Ballston Spa. The restaurant has an intimate atmosphere, friendly staff and the impeccable food. The Next Door has a very extensive liquor selection. I will definitely return when in the area."

"This was recommended to us by a friend to come to during our visit to the area. We sat at the bar and had drinks while waiting for our table to be ready and the bartender was nice and the drinks were good that we ordered. After being sat we were quickly helped , the tomato and burrata salad was delicious. We also ordered the brussel sprouts and meatballs and they were delicious. I tried the scallops on the dinner specials list and it was very tasty as well. The sticky toffee pudding was amazing for dessert. Overall everything was excellent and we were very happy with this place and recommend it."
