"Chipotle-like fast casual mexican restaurant. They have a lot more options than chipotle (you can mix greens in the rice as your base). Awesomely, guac and queso are free! The price is also VERY cheap ($8.50 for a bowl during lunch hours) which is amazing for LIC/NYC area. And it honestly tasted better than chipotle (get the chipotle Greek yogurt dressing on top of your bowl!). Highly recommend this shop!"
"Writing a restaurant review after a long time because this place absolutely deserved it. Went for lunch special, got 2 Delicious huge bowls which we couldn't finish so had to pack them up for dinner, all for less than $20. And yeah, they're Halal!!"
"Incredible food at an unbeatable price. Owner is super nice. Sauces really separate the food from other Mexican spots. They need a few more chairs inside, but look forward to Hot Peppers being a staple in the LIC community!"
"Came for their grand opening. Great customer service, and extremely FAST. The team was excellent for being their first day. Owner was there and very involved in answering questions and making sure people felt welcome. Meats were very well seasoned and flavorful even after offering free food all day. Good toppings and sauces. The garlic hummus is AMAZING for garlic lovers but if you don’t like real/strong garlic then it might not be for you. Was expecting at least the guac to be a lower tier quality based on how busy they were but it was great and I was pleasantly surprised! Never getting chipotle again that’s all I’ll say."
