"I recently had an unfortunate experience at Diamond Studio Lashes and Brows in Rahway, NJ, and I must say that my visit left much to be desired. My expectations for a pleasant customer service experience were quickly dashed when I walked through the door. My appointment was scheduled, and I arrived on time, only to be left waiting for over 30 minutes without any explanation or apology. This was not a great start, and it only went downhill from there. During my lash application, the technician, Jackie, conversed in another language with the receptionist without bothering to check if I was comfortable with it. I found this to be quite unprofessional and inconsiderate of the client's comfort. As if that wasn't already disappointing enough, while I was there to receive a lash service, Jackie was simultaneously working on designing a nail ad. This multitasking approach resulted in my lash application taking a mere 15 minutes. It felt rushed and awkward, leaving me concerned about the quality of the work. To add insult to injury, I expressed my discomfort with the Fan/Custer lashes set Jackie had applied. Her response was far from satisfactory; she informed me that I should pay more for a different service if I wanted something better. This lack of empathy and willingness to meet the client's needs was disappointing. There was no change despite Jackie's assurance that my lashes would improve within 48 hours. Frustrated by the outcome, I contacted the studio two days later. To my shock, they wanted to charge me an additional $40 to remove the lashes. This approach felt like an attempt to squeeze more money from me for a service I wasn't satisfied within the first place. In all my years of engaging with beauty services, my experience at Diamond Studio Lashes and Brows was undoubtedly the worst I've ever encountered. The lack of professionalism, inadequate customer service, and unwillingness to address my concerns have left me disappointed and frustrated. I advise anyone seeking lash and brow services to explore other options in the Rahway area to ensure a more pleasant and satisfying experience."
