"I have been with Bay Shore Family Dental for many years. This is the first time that I’m writing. Actually I barely write reviews at all for anyone or anything. However today my visit to the dentist was great. I was in and out in no time and I had filling done. The doctor and staff are always very nice and professional. Very happy with BSFD. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs a dentist."

"DO NOT COME HERE! ONLY LOOKING TO MAKE THE MOST AMOUNT OF MONEY UNETHICALLY. I had an appointment a couple months back for my annual check up when the dentist in which I don't remember his name told me I had 6-7 cavities. I got two filled and didn't want to go through with the others because of the pain. I found it odd that I had so many cavities and decided to go to another dentist somewhere else before getting the rest filled in and she told me my teeth were perfect! NO cavities whatsoever. And the worst part is that the two "cavities" the other dentist had already filled I decided to get replaced for a white fill with the new dentist and she told me the job had been done TERRIBLY. He didn't seperate the cavities, basically connecting my two teeth. Just horrible what offices like these do for money. Ruining a perfect mouth of teeth just to charge the insurance for as much as they can get. Please get a second opinion before getting ANY service done here."

"The front desk and every other staffed i encountered with was absolutely amazing and very sweet. They all made me feel comfortable especially being someone who is afraid of the dentist! They did a great job. Definitely recommend!!!"

"At first I was VERY happy. The office is clean and the staff is personable. The billing however is unethical. It is one thing to charge a fee to use a credit card.... but if you use Care Credit (a heathcare credit card) they dont just charge a fee but they impose a fee of 10% of your bill. So if you pay $3,500 for a root canal and use care credit they charge a fee of $350.00 just to use that card. I called care credit and they were unaware of this and said thhey would address it. Naturally, I cancelled all of my appointments and will not be using them. Truly a shame because I did like it there."
