"I have been a patient of Dr. Ritter’s office for years. I decided to take my 7 year old autistic son to the office just to get an experience of seeing a dentist. My insurance would not cover pediatric dentist because of his age. I explained everything to the office before making the appointment and they agreed it was ok and to make the appointment. I showed up and my son was nervous and crying. Which is understandable. So instead of being understanding and compassionate they basically told me to go somewhere else. I was only in there for less then 2 mins but as soon as they heard him crying they wanted nothing to do with him. The look on their faces alone when they walked in the waiting room to greet him was unbelievable! I explained he was autistic and just needed a moment but they didn’t care. If you didn’t want kids in your office or didn’t want to deal with kids then you should have said to me in beginning when I made the appointment!! I explained everything to them. They didn’t try to talk to him, or try to convince him to just come in. It’s so upsetting to see people in the medical field not care for others especially children. I will never return to that office. Very upsetting!"
