"For years I have gotten my hair cut and trimmed and I have never had a worse experience at a hair salon. It was my first time visiting Hyta and my friend and I had asked for a TRIM. She ended up cutting off at least 3 inches of my hair, and completely messed up my layers. The ends of my hair are choppy and uneven, I spent over two hours crying. I have to admit, the ladies were very nice and at first I trusted them, but after being so upset about my hair CUT, I couldn’t resist the need to warn any future customers to be EXTREMELY specific in how the want their hair done."

"they messed up my friend and ours hair. we told them to give us trims and she cut off around THREE inches of my friends hair and messed up the front of it by cutting off around 6 inches. do not recommend coming here. also wanted to charge us $35 to blow dry our hair."

"This place is amazing!!! Let me start with their professionalism and years of experience. These Dominican ladies have been working their whole lives in the hair salon industry. They know how to take care of your hair and they have the experience, the patience and the longing for excellence. My personal experience was the BEST of my life. I will keep coming back to this salon, and I totally recommend it. They are knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. I felt like home because they treated me like family."
