"Dr Skarbnik and his staff were awesome! We were given the news from Atrium that I had Lymphoma by the hospitalist, Dr. G. I was devastated. I decided to get a second opinion by someone who specializes in Lymphoma and Dr Skarbnik was recommended to me. I could not have asked for better. Within 30 minutes, he told me he was very sure what I had was NOT Lymphoma. The tests run at Atrium did not support the diagnosis. He ran several more labs and ends up I had a form of Mono, NOT Lymphoma. Telling someone they have cancer before all the tests are back is a BIG injustice. It puts that person and their family through a whole lot of emotions. Thank you Dr Skarbnik for being thorough and getting correct answers for me and my family! He also took the time out the next day to personally call me to let me know my lab results. Most doctors don't take that time to call the patient anymore. They assume everyone can look it up on their own on the patient portal. 100% recommend! Thank you!"
