"We were treated for torticollis and plagiocephaly. Our doctor recommended Carolina Kinder Development at 2 months old. We worked with Courtney and Sarah. They were absolutely fantastic with him and us, nervous first time parents. After each session they would give us handouts of the exercises to do at home which were super helpful. Our son always had smiles on his face when we were there, even had his first laugh with Sarah. Getting him seen early and starting the exercises we avoided having to get a cranial band. "We were referred here to see Maria for both of our boys (3yo and 4mos) by 2 different doctors. Our youngest was having feeding issues and sever reflux that was slowing his motor skill development and he is now 10 months old and doing extremely well! Maria listened to our concerns and gave us all the tool and knowledge we needed to help him get stronger. Our oldest had a very strong jaw displacement when he opened and closed his mouth and the dentist told us to see Maria with CKD (I say this to say she comes highly recommended by doctors in different fields). He wouldn’t like to eat things that required a lot of chewing because his jaw muscles were weak. He’s now 4yo and his eating habits have improved as well as his overall speech.
