"I have used Amelse & Edmonds for the past 4 years for small business and personal taxes. Initially, I was impressed with their service, including an offer to pay for a tax penalty in 2020 which I received due to their "oversight". However, the same "oversight" occurred last year leading to a tax penalty of $800 which the owner is unwilling to compensate for even though they were at fault. I would assume a CPA would have caught this mistake instead of duplicating two years later. I do not think $800 is a huge amount of money and understand tax fees/penalties sometimes occur, however, when I asked for an explanation into the "oversight" I was not given an answer after multiple requests, nor did they take responsibility for their "oversight". I will not be using their business in the future and do NOT recommend to anyone who does not want to pay unnecessary fines/fees or those simply wanting an explanation for those fines/fees."

I was researching CPAs in the area because my last CPA was in RI and unresponsive in a timely manner. I am happy that I found them.
