"I am disappointed to have a negative experience with a company I’ve used for years. This season was our first time filing in person and my frustration comes from staffing/management rather than the tax specialist we worked with. She was very helpful but seemed to struggle with our return. There were multiple times where my husband and I had to show her something she almost missed on our return. That’s always concerning when it comes to your taxes. We had to break up our meeting over two days because of scheduling mistakes from the young, staring-and-scrolling-before-working receptionist. They seemed to be understaffed this week so our consultation kept getting interrupted with walk-ins and phone calls. Overall a very negative experience. Again, I don’t want to fault the tax specialist - she was doing the best she could with a situation not of her making. But whoever manages this branch/store needs to make some changes. Needless to say, we will not be working with HR block again in person or at this location."
