Econo Lodge Asheboro

"Run from this Filthy Bed Bug infested dump. We purchased a room for 3 days drove from Florida to Asheboro.We entered room and couldn't believe the disgusting Filthy room ..Black mold on bathroom and Bed area ceilings ..both beds stained dirty and covered in bedbug poop all over sheets The toilet was leaning on its side filled with pee and paper not bolted to floor ..tub dirty ..walls and floors disgusting we went immediately to office told them we're leaving We were given back 2 days room rate but they penalized us for canceling said room and are refusing the 95 dollars for 1 days room rate These people are ripping us off .Don't let them rip you off too . Their own maintenance man came to room as we were leaving said manager wasn't there but wanted to see photos he was taking .I've got photos too and am posting them here You can clearly see bedbug poop on sides of beds dirt and mold ..Today is Sunday tomorrow I will be contacting Health Dept to report these issues .. This place needs to be closed down due to health issues..Owner admits to moldy ceilings claims to have fixed it. Not true..They claim to have offered us a different room not true even if they had offered we would have declined if mold is in one room it's in others ..I have Asthma and started wheezing left for safety sake.."

"The room has been upgraded and remodeled but the bathroom door was really old and split open. I didn’t see any signs of bed bugs in my room but there were roaches. I had to stay here last minute so it was decent for the night I needed it but I won't stay here again."

"It was around September, the second or third, we had been driving for a lot of hours. We saw signs for an econo lodge. We decided to stop. We rent 2 rooms, paid for them . when we walked to the rooms. One of them was wide open, and a black male was leaving the room. The sheets were dirty. There were roaches and bed bugs in both rooms. The lock on one of the rooms didn't really work. Cigarettes burn everywhere and last persons belongings food ect left behind.We did not even allow our kids to get out of the car. We went straight back to the desk and told her. We needed a refund we could not stay there. She said no problem, but it might take a few days instead of giving us our money back. They charged our bank 3 separate times after we left over the next week. Now it's been over a month later. I'm laying here trying to go to bed, and I'm alerted. That low and behold econo lodge is charging. My bank is $50. The rooms were almost 400. So why a month later? Are they still trying to take money from my account? When I spoke with the owner. He pretended that he could not understand English. He was very rude and kept saying he did not understand every worker. I have spoken with from that particular place has been extremely rude.."

"Room had been remodeled inside, had pretty decor. The tub had issues draining, was very slow. The duvet was just a thin coverlet, but the staff gave us heavier blankets that helped. For economy lodging, and at the price point we paid, it was a very fair deal and comfortable. I would stay there again."
