"i was absolutely told i can try out the doggy boots and return them they didn’t work. They were $80 !! They kept falling off and when i returned them the manager said she would not take them back because we tried them outside. ( how can you tell if they work inside on a dog ). This has been a favorite store of ours but we never had a product that didn’t work before. BEWARE!!! we won’t be back !"

"I would give 10 stars if I could. Was walking past the store one evening and popped in to inquire about a pair of boots I liked, and didn't realize it was five minutes before they closed. But Angelina and her coworker invited us in and stayed late to help me get a great pair of boots! Not many people would do that and I greatly appreciate it!"

"Great selection of outdoor products. They also have a room in the back for sale items. There is also a Mountain Man in Old Forge, NY. That does more with canoeing and kayaks. Check it out, you won't be disappointed."

This winter after a bad experience with a rude associate at EMS, I came to Mountainman and was torn between two North Face jackets and the lady working was SO nice, helpful, and genuine, telling me one of the coats looked really good on me and I should get it (even though it was less expensive than the other coat!) No pressure, just cool people looking to help you out with whatever brings you in."
