"I would never recommend this place to ANYONE! I go to the doctor in the same parking lot as this business and my car was making a weird noise on the way so husband was checking it out while he was waiting on me to get done and a short heavier set lady who looked to be about in her 50s was very Derogatory throwing Racial slurs and calling VERY ugly and inappropriate names for no reason. I have been thinking about taking further action because it’s 2022 and this behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. As a wife and mother to an African-American husband and children I will not let this go unnoticed."

"Just an FYI for people of the Charlotte area to avoid going to Burchett Financial Services. I went today to get a receipt for the services she provided last year. We were not given one last year we paid half cash and half card. When I arrived I was treated very poorly and was flat out told she would not provide a receipt to anyone. After telling her that I was not given one last year she told me to leave. I was completely nice when I went in to ask for one. I have never been treated so poorly. After reading some reviews on her she apparently has messed up on a lot of peoples taxes. I hope she is satisfied with the poor way she treated a paying customer because she has lost a lot of business from us. I am very upset with this and know that God and Karma will take care of it."

"Joyce did my 2014 taxes. In May, 2016, I received a letter from the IRS claiming I owed over $2000 in back taxes, penalties and interest. This was a result of an IRA to Roth IRA conversion not being properly represented on my taxes and failure to account for a self employment tax. I called Joyce about this and she stated she would handle it by sending a letter to the IRS. I began trying to communicate with her 9 days before the deadline on the IRS letter and I never heard back from her. I sent 3 emails, left 2 voicemails on her office machine and called multiple other times. I have never had such a despicable experience as this. I paid her good money to do my taxes properly to avoid having to deal with the IRS. Joyce hung me out to dry, leaving me to navigate the errors she created on my tax return and respond to the IRS letter all by myself. Shame on you Joyce."
