I am very happy with the results (refunds) and the price I paid for the services. I called an accountant in the Southport area weeks ago, but was told they were not taking on new clients in 2023."

"I have been using H&R block for over 30 years through various locations. I made an appointment a week in advance, got my paperwork together and scheduled time off from work. Just before my scheduled appointment that they verified twice through texts they call to tell me they aren't seeing new clients. New client after 30 years...seriously?? If that is how unprofessional and unorganized they are then I'm glad they didn't do my taxes. Save yourself a lot of time and hassle and find a real tax pro."

"My experience has absolutely aggravating. The only reason I used H&R Block to file a 1040, was because I was having an issue getting the IRS to accept my last year's AGI. They told me at H&R Block they could e-file for me without my last years AGI. "You better let him go ahead and do the return so you can get your money sooner" is what I was told. Well it took him 2 days to fill out my 1040 and the another day before I could meet again to sign it because I also work. I signed it before work, only to find that the information entered on my behalf wasn't correct. I called within an hour of noticing the error (probably already too late) and it took a full day for someone to call me back. Its been over a week since I paid the low price of $65 per return. In still can not track my refund trough the IRS website. I do not know if my return has been rejected, if it has to be amended, or what the status is period. Communication is terrible. It takes them at least a day to call me back."
