"Was craving fried chicken, but my southern heart loves fried food in general, so I was probably expecting too much. The chicken nuggets were so dry and under seasoned to the point of almost being inedible, the mac and cheese bites were awful. The fried chicken itself was middle of the road and also lacked seasoning. The potato cones were delicious however and you can't go wrong with a corn nugget."
"Chicken Joes in Troy is not only my favorite chicken stop, but the staff were so welcoming and friendly during our entire short visit. Leidi took our orders and delivered them to us at our table, she was not only incredibly kind but also professional which is a hard to mix to nail perfectly. "High quality chicken. Very well-managed restaurant. Employees have been consistently good over the years. Food is consistently good. Comes out fast, too. I order a bunch of food and it comes out in like ten minutes. I waited longer than 10 minutes at McDonald's the other day. Definitely the best chicken spot in the area. One of the best in the capital district. My favorite sauce is hot honey. They do really well with customizations if you want things extra crispy extra saucy and extra bacon like I do. The one negative I have is I think pretty much every one of their dishes could use more sauce. But maybe that's just me tho. Or maybe at least allow one extra sauce per dish for free. Also, they have a cash discount of 4%. That's better than most rewards cards for dining and it helps the business out as well. I highly recommend this place. Haven't been to the one in Albany but the Troy location is fire. This is one of my favorite spots!"
