The store recommended Pettyjohn's for this type of rug. When I dropped the rug off, I had the opportunity to meet Robert, the owner. He is very charismatic and gave me a tour of the facility. I felt like I was on an elementary school field trip - it was great. He explained what each of the machines did and that they try to be as green as possible - there is a cistern to collect rain water! They not only clean rugs and carpets, but also sofa cushions and other upholstery items. My rug was ready before the original date they had provided. All of the people that work at Pettyjohn's are very friendly and professional. They seem to take a lot of pride in their work and their reputation.
