Collins Cleaners @ Belmont

"I was so excited to find a cleaners nest my home. I should have went another way. I dropped off two wool coats to be cleaned by Collin’s cleaner. I got my coats back and they smelled the exact old scent as when I took them there. My top button was falling off and I had to sew it back on myself. I am very disappointed with this $50 cleaning job. Now I have to take them somewhere else. As I sitting here reading what Patrick response to my review… if you dry cleaned my coats they would have a least had that scent to it."

"Worst experience ever. I took a jumpsuit in because I need the pants legs hemmed. When I picked it up they cut off the entire legs. My beautiful jumpsuit was now a romper. Not cool for a lady in her late 60's. To add injury to insult I received denial as opposed to an apology. I paid before I realized the legs were gone or I would have left it there."

"Easy to drop off, they have a parking spot right in front for their customers. Nice clean intake room with a pretty rug on the floor, quick response, easy intake, reasonable prices (blazer under $10). Also apparently they do show repairs! I'll be taking a pair of broken heels to them to see if they can do anything for it."

"Was excited to learn this business does shoe repair and is in Belmont. Took shoes in to have the heel taps replaced which is a very simple job I have driven into Charlotte to have done many times. Normally takes about a week. Was told it would take a month and a half (!) here because they send it out. I didn't leave them. I guess I'll keep driving into Charlotte."

"I usually bring my dry cleaning here and they do well. I brought pants in for an alteration and the woman I spoke to was quite abrupt and rude when I didn’t have the pants measured already because they “don’t do that here,” referring to the measuring. I tried answering a few of her questions and she kept cutting me off. Very uncharacteristic of this place and kind of rough after the end of a long workday. I’ll probably visit another place for these things next time."
