"I used American maids for almost 2 years to clean my short term rental in myrtle beach after my previous cleaner decided she wanted to migrate to selling real estate. I stopped renting my condo for about 6 months and when I emailed and called Marie to start up services again I never received a response or a call back. I would not recommend."

"I used this service for 3 cleans (paid for 4 upfront). The first one was so, so... the second clean was great. The last clean there were food crumbs left on the side table, and the stove eyes had food still all over them, it wasn't even wiped down. I cancelled the next clean, I had already paid in advance and she didn't offer a refund, or could care less. I told her what I found, and she didn't offer an explanation or anything. She takes no responsibility for the cleaners she hires I guess. So it's areal a hit and miss game with them. You might be happy - or you might be disappointed, but one thing for sure Maria doesn't really care which. The communication skills are terrible as well - she hardly ever responds back, and if she does it's with one word."
