"Just came here for the first time after being in the area and hungry. Note - I'm from uptown BX and have been a connoisseur of jerk for over 30 years. Initially, I tried ordering in advance through DoorDash but even though it said I could pick 2 sides, there was no option to pick anything, so I went in person. Upon entering at 7:30pm, there was no customers and I wondered could this be a bad sign. The heavyset woman behind the bar had the most offending demeanor and treated me as if I was interrupting her sleep. Said woman asked me my order and I recited it to her, however she did not take a note or even type anything on the computer, and I recalled thinking if her memory was excellent. After she appeared to listen to me, she then slowly walked over to the computer and asked me to run it all by her again, and I felt as if I were in slow motion because she again was acting like she just woke up. I was told to come back in 20 minutes, and I remarked the experience of the DoorDash ordering issue, to which she stated it does work, I was the one doing something wrong. So, I opened up the app to show her the same steps I initally followed, and her reply was simply "oh". Now, comes the food: Jerk Chicken, rice & peas(oxtail gravy on top) and cabbage. The chicken was a bit tender however it tasted like they used Walkerswood Jerk seasoning, and an excessive amount to that point. The rice & peas were a darker color than usual and was gummy. The cabbage was good, however I literally received a small cat food can portion. I don't expect excellent customer service from a Jamaican restaurant, but this was by far the worst experience I have ever received. P.S. - The bar looked attractive and I guarantee that is what most people go there for - drink and hear loud distorted music from their subpar sound system. Y'all can most certainly do better and I would NEVER recommend. P.P.S. - Sorry I failed to post a pic of the food, I was starving."

"Very nice place.. the bartender Tyianna is very sweet she made our drinks very strong but very good! Food was fresh and so good..I was seated and served in less then 15 minutes. The owner and the chef comes around and asks how we like the food and talks to every single guest in the establishment.. I felt like family! I would recommended going on karaoke night that’s when I went and I had a ball.. this was my 4th time here and this time I drove a hour from New Jersey for the food…"

"Wonderful atmosphere if you enjoy half naked women and underage drinkers. I made the mistake of ordering off an app and they didn’t give me anything. Had the pleasure of standing around for 15-20 minutes. I’d recommend going here if you have a few bucks to waste on cheap alcohol, non cleaned hookah and horrible day. Plenty of other places to go. Would not Recommend going here for any occasion. The music was terrible, I’ve heard better remixes in retirement homes. Honestly I rather be mugged by a white guy than come here again."

"The place was clean and the bartender/server was nice my issue was with drink and food! The mango margarita tasted real thick like syrup more sugar than tequila. Also the food Oxtail Rice and Peas did not taste like Authentic Jamaican food. The Oxtails were small and dry. Taste more like American styled Oxtail. I was disappointed to say the least."

"Our bartender was very nice and attentive woman. The dj and the music was good. My boyfriend and I ordered 3 tacos, it was supposed to be chicken, steak, and shrimp. They didn't have any steak. We also got the jerk Mac and cheese. It tasted like old jerk sauce. We ordered drinks and it tasted like some type of machinery. We ended up deciding to leave because after about 45 mins we still had no food and people started smoking hookah. We waited an extra 15 for our food . We ate the food at home and it wasn't good. Will not be returning."
