"Wish I could give -5 stars. Only been here since October 2023 (it’s January ‘24) and my experience at Ashford Green has been nothing but negative. The office staff are either never at their phones or just refuse to pick my calls up, and when they DO answer, the response is always irritated and dismissive. There have been repeated maintenance issues in a supposedly “newly-refurbished” unit, which the maintenance team seem to think can be ignored. Literally think they’ve got my numbet blacklisted because I’m trying to keep them accountable with promises (like installing a new dishwasher, which I needed for nearly 3 months but kept getting ghosted by maintenance). Not only that but almost every package I have delivered gets stolen and never returned, including food !!!!! Additionally I was served with a lease violation for having unauthorized cats. Before I even signed my lease, I had to go through a week and a half of document review because they are my ESAs and was APPROVED. What happened, you ask? THEY LOST THE DOCUMENTS. Then I had a “pay or vacate” notice stuck to my door that didn’t even belong to me, but had my apartment # written on it. Unacceptable, unethical, and indisputably dangerous behavior on their part, but of course that’s no surprise. In short: this place is a disorganized disaster, and the amount they expect for accommodations is totally reprehensible given the living conditions. Save yourself the trouble. Find somewhere else to rent. DON’T LIVE HERE."

"I arrived at the leasing office close to end of business on Saturday and was warmly welcomed by Tonji A. She took the time to explain the policies and provide detailed information on the properties. Her personality allowed me to feel very comfortable and asked as many questions as possible. She showed me 3 different properties which will allow me to make a decision. If I decide to make this my temporary relocation residence or not, one thing I can say is that Tonji is very knowledgeable about her position and displays an attitude that makes one ready to make a decision upon completion of viewing the very first property in NC. You did an excellent job. Thank you Tonji!"

"Such a wonderful experience. Great customer service was provided by Tonji. Even if I didn’t love the apartment she would have sold me on it bc she was so warm, welcoming and shared all the information needed to make the right decisions for my family during this relocation experience.She went out of her way to ensure we had all the information needed, even as it was close to closing time. "Pro: Pretty near to the university Cons: charged for renter’s insurance for two months even though i have progressive insurance.Staff, no proper responses to any maintenance requests, on top of it they argue for any issues/concerns tenants raise. Not a good experience. Not a first option i would suggest"

"Not the worst place I’ve ever lived. It has been a very quiet neighborhood with no problems-until a couple of weeks ago when there was a murder in the apartment across the parking lot from mine. My neighbors had their apartment shot into and there is still a bullet hole in the window in the apartment above that! Thankfully the shooter didn’t miss his target further or there could have been a bullet right into my bedroom. No one has mentioned anything about what happened and I don’t feel safe sleeping in my own bed. Otherwise beautiful views of the par 3 and sunset!"
