"I lived here for 2 years, some problems but overall not terrible. However, after I moved out they never sent me a check to refund my security deposit. I spoke numerous times to the front desk and when shown what amount I should have received back, there were numerous charges that made no sense (a fee for living on the 3rd floor?). At any rate, I have still not received any amount back for my security deposit, nor will the manager Brooke respond to emails or return my phone calls. I've attempted to contact JRK, but they do not return calls either. Assume your security deposit will never be returned. My only possible recourse I can think of is to take them to small claims court, however I moved out of state. I'm sure they factored that in when deciding not to send me what is left of the security deposit. Also, they simply have neglected the grill by the pool that was clearly designed as a gas grill, but they have since turned it into charcoal. Not much for luxury."

"If I could give this place 0 stars I would. My car was broken into 2 times in the matter of 3 months because management doesn’t close the gates at all. Im being charged $1600 a month for car break ins, dirty roads, dirty car cleaning units, no washer and dryer, and roaches."

"BE PREPARED FOR $160 CLEANING FEE AT MOVE-OUT. While I have many other issues to discuss regarding my 12 month residency at Citra, I will be focusing this specifically towards the complaint I filed against them with the BBB. The lease states cleaning fees will be added when apartments are left in "conditions beyond normal wear and tear". After an $80 apartment cleaning fee and $80 carpet cleaning fee were deducted from my security deposit, I was then informed via email from staff that those cleaning fees are in fact, mandatory. Again, be advised this is not how it is written in the lease. But it seems they take your money anyways. I sure wish I had not bothered to clean as rigorously and thoroughly as I did, or bothered to rent a rug doctor / pay for $50 in cleaning supplies to leave that apartment nicer than when I moved in. Pictures are the final condition of the apartment upon move-out. What a complete waste of money, time, and energy on my part. I should have known efforts to be an excellent tenant were completely futile."

"Very thin walls and cheap “updated” appliances. Also don’t recommend if you work from home. Management doesn’t care if you complain about neighbor’s consistent over the top noise. You sign a lease that says noise complaints won’t be tolerated but nothing happens outside of a “warning” if you tell them. Also there is a roach infestation.. so good luck keeping them out of your clean space."

"After applying for an apartment here we got off to a rocky start because of some issues, but I must say the office staff here worked hard to get everything resolved and me in my new home by my move in date. They are quick to response very friendly and maintenance is on point. Put in a work order for a stopped up tub at midnight the next morning they were out taking care of it. Unlike some other apartment complexes when they show you the model. That is what you are getting. Not the bait and switch. . I just wanted to say thanks to the ladies and maintenance staff here. Oh yea not to mention they keep the grounds clean here. Never have to come home and see trash all over the place. If your like me and are looking for a clean, safe and well maintain super spacious place to call home it’s here."
