Hempstead Ford Service

"Misdiagnosed my truck, sent me home with the same original problem and had to get it towed back to the dealer. It ended up being out of service for a total of 3 months, and they refused to give me a courtesy car. They said they didn’t have any left. Brought my other car in for an electrical issue under customer satisfaction program. Made me call customer service instead of helping me out there. Customer service then said they wouldn’t help me. Manager was “gone for the day.” My wife went to pick up my truck, called the representative while she was standing there, and he would continuously let his phone ring to voicemail. Then told my wife his phone didn’t ring. No customer service. No satisfaction."

"Slow turnaround times, had an appointment scheduled, parts ordered and when we arrived we were told parts didn’t arrive and even blamed us for not calling ahead. What’s the point of an appointment then, also pricing is absurd."

"Awful customer service - been going downhill for awhile now. I have used them for years with a fleet vehicle and now it seems as if they no longer want my business. Last time (January 2023), I was hassled for a small service item required by my fleet company, never received a call when the car was done and the attitude I experienced is just unacceptable. This morning, I had a scheduled appointment for service (oil change, lubrication, preventative maintenance, rotate tires, etc.) and was told they do not service fleet vehicles on Saturdays. I made the appointment with their schedulers, told them it was a fleet vehicle (they looked it up and validated it was a fleet vehicle and saw the car in their system from previous service performed on this vehicle) and they scheduled me for a Saturday appointment at 7:45 AM. Needless to say, the service coordinator told me they couldn't service my car on a weekend (remember that they set up the appointment date and time) because they couldn't contact my fleet company (I have approved service items to be performed in an email from my fleet company for them to use) and said I could leave the car till Monday (not sure that is even accurate since Monday is a holiday as well). This is unacceptable and I am done with these folks. WHAT A BIG WASTE OF MY TIME on a early Saturday morning with an appointment date/time they scheduled and then to be turned away and asked to reschedule my appointment! I will be bringing my fleet vehicle somewhere that values my business and establish a relationship with them for both my fleet vehicle and my 2 personal cars for servicing moving forward."
