"Was not going to leave a bad review until today. This is how the maintence men left my wall after installing a washer and dryer in my unit(that was not installed until almost two months after I moved in and it was supposed to be installed the day I moved in) The maintenance man told me that he would be back the next day to fix it (it’s been almost three weeks I was waiting and was ghosted) and then told me not to put a work order in because he would be right back to fix it and then left it that way for three weeks and last night, my dog sliced his leg open on that sharp metal piece sticking out and I called the front office today and I said I’m not going to make you guys pay for the vet bill (stitches and staples) or cause a scene but I just wanna let you know that I’m very upset that this has been left like this for three weeks and my dog now sliced his leg open and Cassie who works the front desk had no sympathy whatsoever and just told me with an attitude that they’re working on fixing it and that it was my responsibility to watch my dog. I have been so patient with the management and staff here with the issues I’ve had because I know they have a lot going on but the way she handled that today made me lose all respect. Extremely unprofessional"

"I placed a maintenance request on 11/27/2023 in regards to my heater not working. I also emailed the property manager Cassie on 11/28/2023 around 4 am before I went to work in regards to my heat however she did not respond to my email but maintenance did enter my apartment that same day while I was at work and fixed my kitchen sink. My heater was still not working. I went into the office today, 11/30/2023, to speak with the property manager and yes I was disgruntled, anybody would be if their apartment was without heat and it's cold. I've been sending emails and they have not been answered and no one has explained to me why my heater could not be fixed. Instead I had to read the maintenance request that I submitted and the resolution stated, "heater part is working however the blower motor in sir handle is not functioning up to par causing a decreased air flow from vents. Blower motor will need replaced. need model and serial #." No one relayed this information to me. The heater does not work at all. While in the office talking to Cassie, she also got an attitude because I am upset that my heater isn't working and she hasn't attempted to contact me or respond to my emails that she stated she did not receive. However I have proof that I sent them. Cassie also stated that she could not accommodate me with a space heater because she has about 30 units with no heat and the heaters had been all given out to those units. As if me not having any heat was her last concern. She stated that she would get a vendor to look at the heater. So at 5:30 pm maintenance knocks on the door and hands me a very small heater that is impossible to keep my apartment warm. The property manager still has not contacted me in regards to my heater. It is 49 degrees outside. Rent is due tomorrow and so I told her that I am responsible for paying my rent on the 1st but do not have any heat. She stated that her job is to collect rent and ensure that everything runs smoothly. She was not bothered by the fact that I have to sleep in a cold apartment. And please don't respond with residents having an attitude because you would have one too!! PLEASE FIX MY HEAT!!! THIS IS AN EMERGENCY!!! This little heater will not keep my apartment warm and it don’t work."

"I am not the type to write reviews, but I am extremely grateful for all the help my son received through out the whole process from beginning to end being this his first apartment. Jocelyn and the rest of the office staff went above and beyond to accommodate him the best they could with everything which gave me as a parent a peace of mind. The deposit can be a little high upon approval, I will warn about that. But it’s understandable for first time renters to get a chance."

"Do not believe the 5 star reviews. Most those people got lucky with good units. The entire complex has four Major issues. 1. Pests- I thought I was alone with a horrible roach infestation. Nope everyone in the complex I’ve talked to has some sort of roach or bug infestation. Management sent out someone once, they didn’t fully spray. They said they would be back later then ghosted me for the past month. 2. Sewage- my building has a sewage issue that is caused by a clog in the buildings plumbing. Management has refused to fix it because it would require shutting off the water. So my building will reek of a sewer 50% of the time. 3. Management- every single person I have dealt with in the office has an attitude and doesn’t want to fix problems. They will be nice to you up until you are locked into a lease then they will treat you like an animal. Cassie is the worst to deal with, she will not listen to what you say, then get in her feelings when you complain about major problems with the building. 4 Parking- Now tenants are required to have stickers on our windows or else we will be towed. The complex is full of empty spaces so this is solving nothing and just hurting us renters. Also the notice for this policy change was only sent out by email, which is not right. I am sure when they start towing on September 21st a bunch of people will get there car towed without knowing of the policy change. Absolutely scummy and predatory. Minor issues include: gas lighting, a web portal that sucks, maintenance refusal to take phone calls, and generally just the entire experience. The only good thing about the place is the on sight laundromat… but even that has broken machines so… yeah don’t move here."

"We absolutely love it here and just moved in Feb 11, 2022. We are just 3 min from I-77 off Celanese Rd., and so convenient to everything. The community is well kept, quiet, and nestled beneath the trees for a lovely, serene setting. Both Heidi (property manager) and Emily (leasing agent) have been so wonderful to us , and very welcoming. My wife and I had to move out of our previous apt due to moisture issues, and we only had 30 days to find a place. They were super quick to show us several townhomes including the amazing “Ashley” we landed, which has been totally renovated, and is beautiful! The approval process was fast and easy as well as the rent being affordable unlike so many other places in the Charlotte metropolitan area. They are real lifesavers and we are proud to call The Estates home! Before you spend your hard earned $$$, be sure to check them out!"
